Dear CAFAM members,
The City of Portland has a Multicultural Advisory Committee. Our Eric Larsson has represented CAFAM on this body. Is there another CAFAM member, especially Chinese, who would be interested in serving? Here a message from Eric.
From Eric Larssen: “After a transition period following the retirement of Joe Gray, the multicultural advisory committee will be reforming in September to advise the new city manager, Mark Rees. While I have enjoyed sitting on the committee, and will gladly continue, I wanted to offer the CAFAM seat to someone else if they are interested in representing the organization. Many members of the advisory committee represent immigrant communities and are themselves immigrants, and I think having a Chinese-born representative would be very much appreciated.”
We are very appreciative of Eric’s past service and willingness to continue. However if you or someone you know might be interested in this, please respond below.
Thanks,
Craig
