A Sneak Peek at CNY 2012: Part 3 of 3

In Part 3 – our final news piece – of our CNY 2012 Sneak Peek series, CAFAM gives you an exclusive glimpse into our new venue, Westbrook Middle School and Performing Arts Center.  The CNY Celebration has always prided itself in offering intriguing adult programs and presentations that have captivated many attendees.  The Board and CNY Planning Committee are especially excited this year to present incredible speakers slated for the afternoon this year.

Elliot Cutler, prominent lawyer and Independent candidate in Maine’s 2010 gubernatorial election, will be participating in a panel with other featured guest speakers on the US economy and business relations in China.  We also have Susan Conley, the author of Foremost Good Fortune, who will be doing a book reading and signing and will chat about her family’s experience living in China.  These two outstanding people, plus some hands-on Chinese cooking demonstrations (get your Ming Tsai groove on!), are just some of the major afternoon events we have scheduled for CNY 2012, which will be held in the beautiful classrooms and library at Westbrook Middle School.

The dancers are rehearsing, the children’s crafts are prepped, delicious hot soups and incredible noodles from Bubble Maineia are at the ready, and our plans for Chinese New Year are kicking into high gear!  We’re excited to have you join us on February 4, 2012 at Westbrook Middle School and Performing Arts Center (click the link for directions).  The parking is abundant with spaces in the front *AND* the back of the school.  Are you excited for CNY? Tell us what you think in the comments section below!
