Medical professionals, students, and others might find the following of interest:
The Chinese Language and Culture Center of Maine, Husson Institute of Continuing Health Education Programming, and Eastern Maine Medical Center are organizing a course in traditional Chinese medicine this summer. It will take place in July and August in China at the Hubei Institute of Technology, Huangshi, China (which is near Wuhan).
According to the organizers, “The course will offer a combination of pre-trip study of Chinese language and fundamentals of Chinese Medicine, and will conclude with travel to and study in China. Participants will work and study under the direct supervision of Chinese Medicine practitioners in didactic lecture settings and will obtain direct hands-on experience in Hubei’s renowned Traditional Chinese Medical hospital as well.”
The deadline for registration is May 25, 2012.
