Dear CAFAM members,
A reminder that our annual CAFAM summer potluck will take place this year at Winslow Park in Freeport.
DATE and TIME: Saturday, June 30, starting at noon. We have reserved a shelter that accommodates 75 people. There are picnic tables, grills, etc.
Winslow is a beautiful spot. It has large grassy areas where all sorts of activities are possible: volleyball, horseshoes, etc. It has a nice little beach.
You get to Winslow Park off of Rte 1 south of Freeport. At the blinking light near the big Indian statue, you take South Freeport Rd in the direction of the ocean. Then when you come to the Winslow sign you turn right onto Staples Point Rd. This takes you to the park entrance. At the gate, tell them you’re with the CAFAM picnic.
Details are still being worked out. It should be a fun day. Hope you all can make it.
