Dear CAFAM members,
In two weeks (Saturday September 29) CAFAM will hold its annual Mid-Autumn Festival potluck. This is always a great event with lots of people.
It’s at Woodfords Church, 202 Woodford St. in Portland, starting at 4:00.
Everyone brings a dish to share (Chinese, American, whatever). Drinks will be provided. There will be moon cakes to taste.
There’s a gym area where kids can romp.
We’re working on a program. We hope to find a keyboard accompanist, who can back up our new-found theme song for the event: Theresa Teng’s “Yueliang daibiao wode xin” (“See the moon, you see my heart”). Any pianists out there? Other instrumentalists, poets, singers….?
We hope to see a good crowd at the event, so please mark your calendars.
Best,
Craig
