Deering student needs home

Dear CAFAM members,

There is a Chinese high school student presently a senior at Deering High who is in need of a home placement from November 1 to June 30. Lisa Beth Naseef of the Center for Cultural Interchange explains that his welcome host father recently earned his doctorate and needs to get back to work.

The student is Jason Tsz Leung Cheng from Hong Kong. Here is how Lisa Beth describes him:

“He is polite, respectful and the host father and I like him very much. He’s got a great attitude, loves music, joined the math team and chess club. He can live with a family (or single parent) with or without children, no problem (he is an only child at home). His first language is Cantonese, but he is exceptionally good in English (got a 55 on his SLEP – English Proficiency test, and it is very difficult for Asian students to even attain a 50!) .”

If you can help out or want more details, contact Lisa Beth at 615-5399 or regal[ampersand]maine.rr.com.

Best regards,
Craig
