study Mandarin in Taiwan

Dear CAFAM members,

The Ministry of Education in Taiwan is offering fifteen scholarships to students from New England to study Mandarin in Taiwan for three months (June – August 2013). The “Huayu Enrichment Scholarships” provide a monthly stipend of around $850. It is not clear whether transportation or other benefits are also included.

The deadline for applying is December 15, 2012.

For more information on the application go to:

http://www.moebos.org/scholarshipinfo/Huayu%20Enrichment%20Scholarship%202012%20info%20pack.doc.

If for some reason that fails, contact Levina Weiting Huang at wthuang[ampersand]mail.moe.gov.tw.

This would be a great opportunity for students who want to take their Chinese to another level.
