New Year Crafts Prep Day Jan 26

Dear CAFAM members,

Our Chinese New Year Celebration is coming up on February 9. As you probably know, one feature of the day will be several tables where children can assemble “snake” crafts. The components of those crafts must be cut out and prepared in advance.

A get-together to accomplish all this cutting, etc. is scheduled for this coming Saturday, January 26, at 72 Bowdoin Street in Portland, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. And there will be dumplings.

You are cordially invited to participate. BRING SCISSORS.

If you decide to come, it would be helpful if you could notify me by email: dietrich@maine.rr.com.

In any event, Do Not Miss This Year’s Celebration on Saturday, February 9, Westbrook Middle School, starting at 10:00 am.

Best,

Craig
