Volunteers for photographic exhibit

Dear CAFAM members,

I’m following up about volunteers to help hang the “China: Exploring the Interior” photographic exhibit at USM. We found a time that works for a couple people:

Thursday, May 23 at around 4:00 pm.

But we definitely could use one or two more volunteers. If this interests you and you can fit it in, think about coming to Glickman Library on the USM Portland campus at that time. (Seventh floor.) You will definitely find these materials extremely interesting.

Please contact me at dietrich@maine.rr.com, 688-4826. (If MailChimp garbles this email address, just go to the bottom of this page and click “contact us”.) Thanks.

Finally, think about attending the opening event on Wednesday, May 29, at 5:30. Bob Sargent, the conservator of this material will explain how the photographs exist in the first place and how the exhibit came together. It’s fascinating. Plus, we’ll provide some dumplings.

Best,
Craig
