Ye Ji Salon

Dear CAFAM members,

An event showcasing Chinese culture is coming up that may be of interest to CAFAM members:

“Ya Ji” Salon: Migration Stories

Fox Intercultural Consulting is presenting the second “Ya Ji” cultural salon on Wed., Mar 4th, 5:30-7 pm, at ThinkTank (533 Congress St., Portland). The event is free; Chinese tea will be provided.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Colby College exhibition “Somewhere Here: Visions from Chinese & Taiwanese Artists in Maine.” Meet the curators and artists as they share the migration stories behind this exhibition.

Ya Ji is a modern day salon about the new waves of Chinese and Asian contemporary art and culture as they intersect with New England.
