Dear CAFAM members,
Did you know that April 25th is “World T’ai Chi & Qigong Day”?
Every year on the last Saturday of April, enthusiasts of T’ai Chi and Qigong who live in the eastern-most time zone of New Zealand and China gather at 10 am to practice together. Then the next time zone does the same at 10 am, until the wave of practice sweeps across the globe, covering 80 nations.
Maine Coast Taijiquan and Maine Center for Taijiquan have hosted this global event for the past 12 years at Bowdoin College. This year, the Bowdoin College Asian Student Association has taken over sponsorship, but it will be the same inclusive gathering on campus.
Please show up for the event and make a statement through your presence: Saturday, April 25th, 10 am, Walker Art Building Quad, Bowdoin College (rain site Sargent Gym). Everyone is welcome; free admission.
For more information, contact maineqi@gmail.com or go to the Maine Coast Taijiquan site, http://mainecoasttaichi.com/events/.
