English Language Course beginning June 24th

Dear CAFAM members,

The University of Southern Maine offers courses for English Speakers of Other Languages. USM’s ESOL Department provides high quality, academically rigorous coursework for both local Maine residents and international students interested in studying English in Maine.

The department is currently accepting applications to our Summer Intensive English Language Program. (IELP) is for students who want to improve their academic English language skills… and to have fun learning about the Maine coast and its unique history and culture. We offer an excellent program (23 hours per week of study), which helps students reach higher levels of English language proficiency and prepare for academic programs at the university level.

All classes are held on the USM Portland campus, which provides easy access to the public bus system, restaurants, shops and the waterfront.
