New Year Celebration 2011

The Chinese New Year (CNY) Celebration is the largest and most anticipated event for the Maine and New England-wide community. It draws over 750 people each year and attendance continues to grow, especially with our state-of-the-art venue at Westbrook Middle School and Performing Arts Center.

Explore our past celebration to learn the beautiful history of CNY since CAFAM’s inception, read about sponsorship opportunities for both individual and business donors alike, press coverage of the event, or take a stroll down memory lane of our past few CNYs.

Our annual celebration appeals to all kinds of community members for many of the following features:

  • Intriguing speakers and interactive demonstrations
  • Exciting Chinese folk song and dance performances
  • Fun arts and crafts for the whole family
  • Delicious Chinese food and local vendors

New Year Celebration 2011

As we continue to grow and flourish, CAFAM’s mission for cultural awareness and community growth pushes the organization to its limits to provide a fresh and exciting new CNY program each year.

We’re happy to have you join us this year – Happy New Year!
