2013 Lunar New Year Celebration

It Happened!

The 2013 CAFAM Chinese New Year Celebration took place on February 16.  It was a great success.   The crowd was large, despite the weather and rescheduling.  The dancing, live animals, food, martial arts, crafts, vendors, drummers, dragon parade, lecture, etc. were all very well received.  Thanks to Patti Oldmixon and the entire crew who organized the event!  And thanks to all who came to support us and enjoy the day!

The CAFAM Chinese New Year Celebration is all set for this Saturday, February 16, starting at 10:00 AM.  Unfazed by the Great Storm, we will follow the original program, to the extent possible.  There will be song, dance, food, and more.  Remember it’s at the Westbrook Middle School and Performing Arts Center.  Come on by and say Happy Year of the Snake!
